What Is Israel's Good News?

The title of this site is "The Good News of Israel and Her Messiah".  The title is meant to say that the Good News that the writings of the Refreshed Covenant, (the New Testament), speak of is Israel's Good News.  The message is that instead of G-d's rejection of Israel due to the failure of the Jewish people to receive Yehoshua and follow him, G-d has given His eternal forgiveness and power of salvation to Israel due to Yehoshua's sacrifice for his nation.  This leads to the question, What is this salvation, seeing that since the time of Yehoshua the Jewish people have suffered so much?

The prophet Amos, centuries before, already told us the Good News!

Amos 3:1 Hear this word that Jehovah hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying,2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will visit upon you all your iniquities.

This teaches us to understand that Israel was from the beginning not a nation like other nations.  Today, when nations are considered ethnic people, ancient families, they are often called races.  It is in this very sense that Moshe and the Prophets teach us that Israel is not a nation like other nations.  Indeed, Israel, formed first by G-d's promise to Abraham and his seed, is a family of the family tree of Adam, but not in the racial manner of direct descent like other branches of the family tree of Adam.  For Israel alone is a redefined nation, redefined by G-d, the Creator of heaven and earth, Himself, through redemption.  This redemption began in Egypt and is being carried out and will be carried out until it is complete at the end of time.  All this is through the blood of the Lamb.

Through the redemption of Israel the Adam which G-d made in the beginning is being corporately saved from sin and death, from eternal separation from love and joy and the Presence of the Blessed Holy One.  This in truth is Good News!  Partake of this Good News of the salvation of Israel through ingesting it in the Holy Spirit and live by it, in the renewing of your mind, in the transformation of your conduct from the service of sin to the service of the will of G-d!

I, HASHEM, have not changed, and you, Sons of Jacob, have not become extinct. MALACHI 3:6
