I Am Not Ashamed of The Good News of Israel and Her Messiah

Romans 1:16

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Today, there can be a sense of being ashamed of the Good News proclaimed by the apostles, the shlukim, the sent ones of Yehoshua, because the replacement theology that entered long ago into the form of the representation of the Good News makes it a message which is humiliating to the Jewish people.  This is shameful.

The truth is that the Good News is Israel's Good News and was foretold by the prophets of Israel long before as a message honouring and comforting Israel.

It is in understanding the Good News of Israel and Her Mashiach, having removed all leaven of replacement theology from the form in which it is presented, that I confidently say with the apostle Paul/Shaul that I am not ashamed of the Gospel, the hope, comfort and joy, the great empowerment of seeking and doing the commandments of G-d, that it brings to all who hear it in truth.

He Came To His Own

This is the Good News about Israel and Yehoshua, who in English is often called Jesus, her Messiah.

He came to his own people and his own people did not receive him.  But he prayed for his own people and died while praying for his own people.

Praying for his own, he was raised again from the dead for his own.   And then his own began to believe in him, in accordance to the measure of the Spirit that was given to them.

And as soon as his own people began to receive him he gave, as was the inheritance of his own, the right and the power to call themselves the offspring of God.

Believe this Good News about Israel and her Messiah and, even if you were of a family that is not his own people, you will attach your soul by faith to the soul of Israel, his people, and, being attached to the people for whom he died in prayer, you will be counted among Yehoshua's own.

On Israel's Salvation

All salvation is Israel's salvation. The salvation of all the families of the earth is through Israel’s salvation and belongs to Israel’s salvation. In you and in your offspring, God said to Avraham, will all the families of the earth be blessed.

In the cursed world of Adam, where all are under the sentence of death, there is no other blessing than the blessing of salvation. Any blessing which does not remove the curse, which begins as a blessing of wealth or health or happiness but ends in the curse and death, such a blessing was surely never a blessing to begin with. At best it was only a whisper, a hint, that true blessing, blessing that does remove the curse might be possible.

In the cursed world of Adam, where all are under the sentence of death, there is no other blessing than the blessing that God promised to Israel. There is no other blessing than the salvation of Israel which is a true blessing and from which all true blessings come. There is no redemption of Adam that is not simply the redemption of Israel, according to the Scriptures.

I, HASHEM, have not changed, and you, Sons of Jacob, have not become extinct. MALACHI 3:6
